Conference on International police cooperation at Expo 2015
This morning, the Conference Centre of Expo 2015 in Milan will host a workshop on international information exchange, as part of Interpol regional conferences.
The meeting will be chaired by Criminal Police Director Fulvio Della Rocca, who will be assisted by Filippo Dispenza as a member of Interpol Executive Committee. The Police Commissioners (Questori) and the Provincial Commanders of the police forces in Lombardy will all be in attendance.
These appointments are intended to illustrate the use of the different police cooperation channels and the procedures of the International Police Cooperation Service (SCIP).
The exchange of information is a major issue in view of enhancing the investigative action of field offices and increasing the knowledge of the instruments to combat the main criminal phenomena at a transnational level.
The conference will also be an opportunity to visit the SOI (International Operations Room) of the SCIP based at Expo premises.
