Drug addiction: How to recognize the symptoms

Progressive loss of interest in studies and other daily activities.

Changes in personality (young people using drugs are often drowsy, depressed and they react constantly), in friendships, and in physical appearance (red eyes, dilated pupils, altered look).

They become isolated from the rest of the family.

They leave about medicines, wrappings or rests of strange substances, cigarette papers, burnt spoons or knives, syringes, cotton wool.

They show injection marks on different parts of the body.
